Introducing the Lola Dress, a new silhouette in 100% silk velvet designed to be worn two ways.

The Lola begins with a structured princess-seam bodice, fully boned to create a close, sculpted fit through the bust and waist. A clean square neckline keeps the front beautifully simple, allowing the depth and movement of the black silk velvet to become the focus.

Soft black tulle puff sleeves sit at the shoulders for a romantic, classically feminine silhouette, but can also be gently pushed down and worn off the shoulder. It's a small adjustment that completely changes the character of the dress, transforming the square neckline into something softer and more revealing for evening.

The fitted bodice releases into a long, fluid midi skirt with a knee-high slit, adding movement and just enough skin against the richness of the velvet. The simplicity of the skirt balances the structure of the bodice and volume of the tulle sleeves, creating a silhouette that feels dramatic without being overly complicated.

Care

Please handle this garment with special care. Silk velvet has a delicate raised pile that can be permanently crushed by direct heat or pressure. Do not iron the velvet. If steaming is necessary, steam gently from a distance or from inside the garment and never press the steamer directly against the fabric.

Take particular care around the sheer tulle sleeves. High heat or close contact with a steamer can melt or distort the tulle. We recommend professional dry cleaning by a cleaner experienced with silk velvet and storing the dress with adequate space to avoid crushing the velvet pile.
